Asia Edge

Most of Asia people don’t know they have their competitive edge in the world. They still believe the West lead all around the world, because some concepts of colonization are stuck in their mind by Westerners. For example, when they get a chance to study abroad their first choice is a western college. Moreover, most of them prefer to buy western products. Due to these unconscious concepts, they don’t realize the leading power is gradually shifting from the West to Asia.
In fact, Asian economic development causes Asian markets to expand. Therefore, many firms begin moving their industries from the west to Asia in these years. So if you want to get a job or do business in Asia, then, you must have some experience in Asia and also know some Asian culture. This knowledge will lead to more opportunities for success in the future.
As an Asian person, these values are already in your blood when you’re born, so it’s easier for you to get used to them. That’s why I say Asians have an advantage. On the other hand, these things are really difficult for most westerners to learn. To get these experiences, more and more westerners come to Asia to learn how to get along well with Asians. Some of them even believe Asia will replace America to become the most important region of the world within twenty years.
Although, Asians have many edges in the future, I still think we should go to western countries to expand our horizons. We can learn different thoughts of facing the same issues.
In addition, we can combine Western and Asian advantages to become even more competitive. Finally, don’t forget your inherent edge and remember to use it wisely.

Women's problem in workplace in Taiwan

In my opinion,Taiwan still has many unsolved women's

problems in the workplace, such as gender wage differences.

In fact, now we are in a gender equality century, but there

are still some Taiwanese males who think women aren’t

capable of working . They consider that women should

stay home doing housework and taking care of children.

In addition, even though some women are very talented

at their career, but according to investigation data, in 1991

women on average earned 63.4% of men’s wages in manufacturing

and 69.7% in service industry jobs (Marsh).

So my suggestion is if Taiwanese women want to get equal

pay for equal work, they must unite to fight this phenomenon

or to complain through the organization of human right

commission.Last but not least is don't be silent, then you

will see this phenomenon disappear.
